This Week at YGHQ
Time for another quick weekly update from YGHQ:
- Marshall is all moved in up in Rhode Island. He's apparently been filling some of his spare time with working on artwork to inspire us for some new games.
- We've got some tips on alternate printers, and we're researching who can actually produce the packaging we want for Stir Fry 18.
- We have decided against attending PAX East as a vendor. It was going to be a big financial hit, and while we would likely have the same (or better) success as we had at PAX South, it still wouldn't have been enough to justify the cost. We are looking at some smaller conventions in both New England (now that Marshall is there) and Texas. I've even been eyeing getting a table at Essenspiel this year.
- We're going to be testing the commerce functionality that our web hosting service provides. If it ends up working well, you'll be able to buy copies of our games here. This is one piece in a large puzzle that includes printers and fulfillment services, so it's not something that's going to happen quick, but it's something we are working hard to provide as it's one of the more common comments we receive.
Other than that, we've got a design that's at a decent testing level that we'll be working on over the next few months. Stay tuned for details on when we'll be looking to invite some play testers from the public to try it out on Tabletop Simulator.
Enjoy the rest of your week and your weekend! We'll be back next week as usual.
